If you love a good bargain, be sure to attend the first County Wide Yard Sale of the season. An assortment of vendors will be onsite from 9 am - 4 pm. Free admission to the public.

June 21
Held from 8am - 4pm rain or shine. Admission is Adults $5, Kids 12 and under free. CASH ONLY. There is FREE parking offered off of River Rd., with tram service to the show!

Exhibitor Event Day - $20 per car (includes passengers in car only), registration is only onsite. Swap Meet Vendor information available soon.

July 4
Celebrate America's 250th birthday with two musical performances, in addition to the games you all know and love! The annual Old-Fashioned 4th of July and Veteran's Barbecue is on Saturday, July 4 from 12-4 pm. Bring a pie for the silent pie auction, top pie receives an award, proceeds support future 4th of July events. Event admission is FREE.

HCP does not provide fireworks in the evening.

July 9-11
You'll see the history of steam and gas engines, tractor parades, a working sawmill and more. This year's show feature TBD.

Admission is $7 for adults, kids 12 and under free.

July 18-19
See history come alive with hundreds of re-enactors depicting Union Infantry and Confederate Infantry, Cavalry, and Artillery units. Shop on Sutler Row, play parlor games, see military demonstrations. Admission is $5 for adults, Kids 12 and under are free.

August 6-9
The GLLI is a full weekend of longbow shooting & browsing traditional archery vendors. There will be shooting events for all ages and skill levels. Admission is $7 for adults, and kids 17 & under enter and shoot for free. For more information visit www.michiganlongbow.org.

September 19
Outdoor Youth Day will be taking place from 10 am - 2 pm. It is a FREE day of fun where kids can get hands-on experience in many different outdoor activities. Hiking, archery, bird watching, fishing, target shooting, biking, trapping, canoeing and kayaking, fly tying, working dog demos and MORE! September 25 & 26
The Festival runs from 8 am-Dusk on Friday, 8 am-5 pm on Saturday. The public is invited to experience first-hand the fall harvest techniques and activities from the early-to-mid 1900s. Admission: $7 for adults, kids 12 and under free.

October 24
Wear your costume and enjoy some treats during All Hallows Evening on October 24 from 3-6 pm! This family oriented event has trick-or-treating through the Historic Village. Admission is $5 per person, 12 and under are FREE!

November 14-15
Great Lakes Sled Dog Association is proud to present a new dryland sled dog race event! This race will be held on the HCP trails. The trails are a beautiful mix of grassy and gravel terrain through the woods and fields of the park. December 12-13
Come out and enjoy the holiday sights, sounds, and activities of the late 1800’s. On December 12-13, from 12 pm – 4 pm you are invited to tour the village & enjoy Christmas at HCP. Admission is $5 for adults and Kids 12 and younger FREE! There is no additional cost for crafts.
